Are you interested in trying out an Aicook / Aicok slow masticating juicer and don’t know where the start? You’ve come to the right spot. Find out all the juicy details here and banish confusion so you can make the best choice for your juicing needs.

The Aicook slow juicers are all in an affordable price range (under $200) and are single gear masticating juicers. If a pricier, high-end unit (such as the Omega J8006HDS) is not for you right now, the Aicook cold press juicers are simpler and reliable alternatives that will do a decent juicing job and won’t break the bank.

What’s In a Name?

The first point of confusion I’d like to clarify is the brand name. If you’ve been doing any comparison shopping already, you’ve probably been wondering why you sometimes see “Aicok” and other times you see “Aicook.” Are they different manufacturers? Why are the names so similar?

After some digging around, I finally figured it out, thanks to Facebook. In September 2019, Aicok began re-branding as Aicook. So you will probably keep seeing products under both brand names for a while, until the re-branding is complete. It’s a popular Chinese everyday appliance company, similar to Black & Decker, and has a decent reputation.

Aicook & Aicok Slow Masticating Juicers

#1: Aicook Slow Masticating Juicer SJ-Z1 (New in 2020) – Top Pick

Aicook Juicer SJ-Z1

This Aicook Slow Juicer SJ-Z1 was launched onto the market in March 2020 and is my top pick for a number of reasons.

Firstly, it’s the most powerful of all the Aicook juicers, operating at 200 watts. It’s also unique in that it has a strong, 7-stage ceramic augur (single gear) and a hardy Tritan filter. All of this means you get a better juice yield, which saves you money. And the large 3-inch feed angled chute means you save time, as there’s not so much chopping to do.

Compared with the popular “Queen” juicer AMR521, the only downside to this model is that it’s not as lightweight.

The SJ-Z1 is the most expensive of the Aicook juicers, but it is still under $200 and is really good value considering all of the great functionality you get. The quality materials will ensure this juicer does a good job day in day out.

#2: Aicok “Queen” Slow Juicer AMR521 – Popular Choice

Aicok Juicer AMR521

This best-selling Aicok juicer is popular for its overall reliability and reasonable price. It’s also lightweight and portable. It comes with a longer, 7-stage spiral augur (plastic) which does an even better job than previous models of squeezing the most juice out of fruit and vegetables.

Consumers like how easy it is to assemble and clean. It does great with celery, carrot, apples and oranges and ginger, even wheatgrass and kale. But it’s not designed to handle sugarcane.

The best way to prevent the filter from getting clogged up is to alternate soft and hard produce, and there’s the handy reverse button too, to help stop things from getting backed up. You get two mesh filters in the package, which is useful when one gets clogged and you want to keep on juicing without having to stop and clean.

You do have to chop up the fruit and veggies into small bits, though, as the feed chute is 1.5″ wide. That’s why I prefer the SJ-Z1’s 3″ chute. But if you’re after a really portable unit, this one is the most lightweight of the Aicok juicers, weighing just over 8 pounds.

#4: Aicok Slow Juicer AMR519 – Beginners Pick

Aicok Juicer AMR519

The AMR519 was the first Aicok slow masticating juicer to get a reverse button, which is fantastic for preventing clogging. Its motor runs at 80 rpm, with a wattage of 150. Beginners to juicing will find this model easy to use, clean, and afford. But I think the next model on the list, the GM3002, is a better cheap-end model for when you’re starting out.

#3: Aicook Juicer GM3002 (New in 2020) – Budget Pick

Aicook Juicer GM3002

New in 2020, the Aicook GM3002 is an upgrade on the AMR519, with a cleaner body design, a slower operating speed (70rpm), and two juicing modes. The reverse button reduces foaming and clogging. Both models are in the same price range, around $100.

After 20 minutes of continuous operation, the GM3002 juicer will automatically stop to give the motor a break and prevent it from burning out. Nice safety feature. This juicer is my budget pick as it has all the basic functionality you need while being easier on your purse, however, it is the heaviest of the Aicok juicers weighing over 15 pounds (compare that to the 8.23 pound AMR514).

#5: Aicook Masticating Juicer SJ-G1 (New in 2020) – Convenience Pick

Aicook Juicer SJ-G1

With its sleek, narrower design, the Aicook SJ-G1 is a new 2020 masticating juicer model with NO filter! Not having to brush and scrub out vegetable strings and fruit skins is a definite plus. It also has an adjustable pulp cap that enables you to decide how clear or how pulpy you want your juice to be.

3 different juicing modes – for fruit, vegetables and sorbet – allows for adjustments for different types of food so that the maximum nutrition is extracted. Consumers find this juicer very quiet, and it’s great for juicing foods like celery, carrot, apple and orange, but not so much wheatgrass and spinach. So if juicing greens is a priority, go for my top pick, the SJ-Z1.

#6: Aicok Masticating Juicer AMR509 – Original Model

Aicok Juicer AMR509

The Aicok AMR509 is your basic slow juicer, with no extra bells and whistles, but it does a decent job pressing juice at 80rpm.

It’s got the 7-stage augur, a fine filter, and one button to dissemble. It’s almost as light as the popular Juicer Queen AMR514.

#7: Aicook Whole Slow Juicer SD60K – Vertical

Aicook Juicer SD60K

This is the slowest juicer in the pack, operating at 60 rpm. The next two main benefits this Aicook SD60K juicer has going for it are the wide 3-inch feed chute and two stainless steel filters. So there’s less chopping to do, and the durable filters will be able to do their job for longer. Plus, being a vertical juicer, it’s the most compact unit on this list.

The SD60K juicer is also big on safety, with its non-slip feet and anti-drip spout. It can run continuously for up to 10 minutes, and being ETL-certified, the lid locks into place before the juicer will run.

Aicook Warranty & Support

When you buy an Aicook juicer, the authorized reseller will give you a standard 2-year warranty. However, you can get this extended to 3 years if you register your juicer online with Aicook. It’s pretty straightforward to do and definitely worth the trouble.

Consumers generally find that Aicok’s customer support is friendly and responsive. There’s also the official Facebook page.

You’ll get a hard copy manual with your juicer, but you can also find all the product manuals online. Just do an on-page search for the model number you’re interested in, as it lists every single Aicok product manual with multiple languages (not just juicers), and it’s quite a long list. Not particularly user-friendly, but you’ll still end up being able to download the manual you want.

Wrapping Up

The clear favorite for me on this list is the Aicook SJ-Z1, with its sturdier ceramic augur, more powerful 200W motor, 3-inch feed chute, and Tritan filter. It’s a really good upgrade on the popular Aicok Queen AMR521. You’ll be able to juice a wider variety of fruits and vegetables, get more juice output, and enjoy longer use.

If you really need to go basic and budget, then choose the Aicook GM3002 with its 2 different juicing speeds for hard and soft produce and reverse button. Just beware, it may not go the distance, but it’s an inexpensive way to get started with juicing.

And if you want to get into some serious juicing on a daily basis, you may need to consider a more robust and versatile cold press machine that will serve you well in the long-term.
